announced
another
hard lockdown
for all of Germany
in the presence of Bavarian
Prime Minister Markus Söder
.
In view of the increasing number of
infections
, this is inevitable, said the Chancellor.

again.

consumption of alcohol
in public is still prohibited.
This is to prevent the crowd in front of mulled wine stands.
New

Corona lockdown in Bavaria: contact restrictions and curfew
In Bavaria, there are still strict
contact restrictions.
The private contacts should be "reduced to a minimum", so the demand from Berlin.
In concrete terms, this means that
a maximum of five people (over 14 years of age) from a maximum of two households
are
allowed to meet at least until January 10th
.
In addition, all
public institutions
that were previously closed will
remain
closed.
These include museums, cinemas, theaters and fitness studios.
Club
activities in the hobby area
are also still prohibited.
The
exit restrictions
should also be maintained.
Leaving the apartment is therefore only possible for a
valid reason
, such as going to work, to the doctor or to go shopping.
However, individual sports outdoors or visiting a second household are also allowed.
In addition, a
night curfew, valid from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
, will apply
throughout Bavaria from Wednesday
.
Leaving the apartment is then only permitted in
absolute exceptional cases
, such as on the way to work.
So far, this has only been the rule in hotspots with a 7-day incidence above 200.
New strategies
to contain the pandemic
are now
to be developed
for these hotspots
.
Lockdown in Bavaria: Corona regulations for schools, daycare centers and employees
The
schools and daycare centers will be closed throughout Bavaria from Wednesday
.
This applies to all grades.
It is an
emergency care
offered.
How to proceed after the Christmas holidays (end of January 10th) will be decided at a later date.
Employers are encouraged to make
home office
possible.
In addition, companies should consider
closing
to impose to 10 January.
Graduates should be able to carry out their examinations as specified;
here are
exceptions
possible.
Lockdown in Bavaria: These rules apply at Christmas
On the three
Christmas holidays (December 24-26)
there will be a slight relaxation of the contact restrictions.
In addition to the people living in your own household,
four other people
(plus all associated children under the age of 14) from the closest family circle can join.
These include, for example, spouses or partners, parents, children, siblings, siblings and their household members.
A
maximum number
does not exist, therefore.
The number of people over 14 depends on the
number of adults
inviting guests.
In a family with two people over 14 (for example the parents), there are
usually six people
over 14 years of age.
Lockdown in Bavaria: These corona rules apply on New Year's Eve
The previously planned relaxation on New Year's Eve, which would have allowed up to ten people from ten households to come together, will be lifted.
Even on
New Year's Eve
, only
a maximum of five people from two households are
allowed to
meet
.
In addition, the
sale of pyrotechnics is prohibited before New Year's Eve.
Thus there is
de facto a firecracker ban
on New Year's Eve and New Year's.
All residents of the Free State are also encouraged
to refrain from unnecessary trips and excursions
during the holidays
.
Very few
Christmas parties
in the Free State are likely to end before 9 p.m.
At a later hour, however, the way home would, according to Söder, amount to a
rule violation
.
Does the grandmother have to spend the night with the unloved daughter-in-law?
In practice, the implementation should not be without complications: In case of doubt, whether Bayern will submit to Söder's rule dictation or risk a violation of the lockdown rules?
