A member of the Iranian National Security Committee, Mahmoud Wend, announced that all the elements involved in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh had been monitored and a number of them arrested.
In a statement today, Wend said that the Iranian security forces "discovered the elements that provided the logistical equipment for the perpetrators of the assassination and identified the persons who had contact with them in addition to those who coordinated the assassination."
Wend explained that "the disclosure of additional information will be done by security officials in a timely manner."
Fakhri Zadeh was recently assassinated following a terrorist operation near the capital, Tehran, while a US administration official revealed that the Israeli occupation entity was behind this crime.
