The second Mujib Dawood Forum for Fine Art in Tartous dedicated its second day activities to children through a series of activities in the city and its countryside aimed at developing the artistic talents of the participants of small age groups.

The forum held by the Tartous Culture Directorate witnessed a drawing workshop for children at the city's cultural center, with the participation of about 15 children, from 3 to 13 years old, who expressed during their drawings the importance of the tree and nature in life, in addition to other topics about childhood.

In a statement to SANA, the plastic artist, Mohamed Al-Nayef, the supervisor of the workshop, pointed out to SANA the importance of children participating in the forum to showcase their talents in front of great artists, benefit from their experiences and make room for them to see the experience of the late Mujib Dawood.

The sculptor Ali Rajab Hussain, who carried out a clay workshop with the participation of the sculptor Alaa Muhammad, spoke of the importance of making formations directly in front of the audience to closely familiarize themselves with the mechanism of making the sculpture, indicating that he formed a sculpture representing women as a message of fertility, generosity and love, while the sculptor Muhammad formed a sculpture of a Syrian face for him A relationship with the sea, representing the state of dissolution between water and air, considering this participation as an instantaneous act of a substance that has its own longevity, especially in the midst of public interaction.

The Cultural Center in Ad-Draikish hosted a drawing workshop for children and adolescents, followed by an exhibition of those drawings, where the artist Ahmed Khalil, the supervisor of the activity, indicated that about 70 children and adolescents participated in them and made awareness-raising drawings that focused on the need to adhere to public safety measures to avoid infection with the Coronavirus, with the importance of reforesting areas that have been exposed to fires He stressed the importance of this workshop to spread visual culture and make a good investment of young talents.

In this context, the Safita Cultural Center held a drawing workshop for children under the supervision of artist Adeeb Ahmed, in which about 22 children participated in which they presented drawings of various subjects.
