The People's Assembly today, at its twenty-fourth session of the first ordinary session of the third legislative session, held under the chairmanship of Hammouda Sabbagh, Speaker of the Assembly, approved the draft law of the state budget for the fiscal year 2021 and became law.

The appropriations for the draft law of the state budget for the fiscal year 2021 were set at a total amount of 8500 billion Syrian pounds and the current operations appropriations were estimated at 7,000 billion pounds, while the appropriations for investment operations were 1,500 billion pounds, noting that allocations were allocated for job opportunities estimated at 47,505 opportunities at an amount of 25 billion pounds. Syrian.

The appropriations for salaries, wages and compensation were set at 1018 billion Syrian pounds, social support funds were set at 3500 billion Syrian pounds, the National Fund for Social Aid was 50 billion Syrian pounds, the Agricultural Production Support Fund was 50 billion pounds, the food supply and yeast at 700 billion pounds, and oil derivatives at 2700 billion. Lira and electrical energy at 1800 billion liras.

The draft general budget law included a number of articles on ceilings of the amounts allocated for incentive bonuses for workers in public agencies, ministries, provincial councils, cities, towns and municipalities, which are paid quarterly.

On the first of last month, the People's Assembly began discussing the government's financial statement on the draft law that includes the state budget for the fiscal year 2021.

The session, which was attended by Minister of Finance, Dr. Kinan Yaghi, and the State for People's Assembly Affairs, Maloul Al-Hussein, rose to 11 pm tomorrow, Wednesday.
