Gideon Saar, who resigned from the Likud in favor of establishing a new political framework, is in talks with the mayor of Rishon Lezion, Raz Kinstlich, about joining a list that will run in the 24th Knesset elections - Walla learned this evening (Tuesday)!

Saar and Kinstlich have spoken, and the two are expected to meet again in the coming days.
Kinstlich declined to comment, and no response could be obtained from Saar.
However, a source close to the matter said that Kinstlich tends to reject the offer.
It is estimated that Eilat Mayor Yitzhak Meir Halevi may also join Saar's list.
After Saar's announcement that he would form a new party, Halevy said he supported him, claiming he was "a leading player in public politics."
Halevy explained that he "thinks that another, young and vigorous government should be formed here. It is completely legitimate - we are a democratic state."
