The Syrian Science Olympiad team won three bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation in the alternative International Physics Olympiad "IDPHO 2020", which was organized by Russia remotely during the "8 and 10" days of this month, with the participation of 50 countries.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that the students who won the medals are Muhammad Sobhi Mahmoud Abu Radan from the governorate of Aleppo, Omar Nawar Burhani and Abdullah Abdul Majeed Al-Husni from Damascus, while the student Abdul Aziz Basem Al-Jarbi received a certificate of appreciation.
The competitions included two rounds of theoretical and practical tests, each of which lasted five hours, and dealt with axes: mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, waves, matter, radiation, and relativity. Diverse photography of the test room and the performance of the participants
