As the Ministry of Economic Affairs admits, billions of euros of the promised November aid have still not been paid out.

The concerns among those affected are enormous.

"The discounts made so far are inadequate, the companies are running out of liquidity," said a letter from representatives of large
catering companies
to the heads of state
and
federal
government
.

payment is required and a
warning of
bankruptcies is given
.

Representatives of chains such as Block House, BalzacCoffee, Feinkost Käfer, Nordsee and Hans im Glück are named as supporters, as well as the

Larger companies in particular are about to be shut down, the letter says.
The missing payments apparently hit the whole industry.
For example, individual restaurateurs from the comparatively affluent

complain that they will soon no longer know how to cover their fixed costs.
