On December 10, Grosjean was able to remove the bandage surrounding his right hand while keeping his bandages on the more affected left hand.

“Damn, I'm super happy to have my right hand free from these bandages.

Lots of ointment to put on every day but it's good to see that it's in good condition.

I am waiting to recover with my left hand now, ”explained the pilot while showing on social networks the after-effects of his second degree burns.

He did not give up motor sports

Grosjean, who was unable to participate in the last Grand Prix of the season in Abu Dhabi last weekend, no longer has a steering wheel for the 2021 championship. The French driver, however, has not given up on motorsports even if he is he left Formula 1 at the age of 34.

“I haven't fully decided to quit yet.

As Jean Todt puts it so well We are not always in control of our own destiny and in Formula 1, it seems that it is over.

Afterwards, I look at what the opportunities are for the future.

I also talk a lot with the family, ”said the man with 179 grand prix, who has already expressed his interest in Peugeot's Endurance program.
