If two adults live together in a so-called

even increased by 45 euros.

adolescents
up to 14 years of age, however, the rate was only increased by one euro.
According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, this group of people benefited greatly from the last recalculations.

Hartz 4
is a service of the Federal Employment Agency, which serves to secure a living.
Hartz 4 is the slang term for
unemployment benefit II.
The term Hartz 4 goes back to the "Hartz reforms".
At that time, a commission headed by Peter Hartz worked out proposals for reforming the social laws relating to the labor market.
Unemployment benefit II is paid out under different conditions, as the
Federal Employment Agency
puts together on its website.
Accordingly, you can obtain Hartz 4 if you:
Be able to work at least 3 hours a day,
are at least 15 years old and have not yet reached the statutory retirement age,
Your habitual place of residence is Germany,
You are not able to secure a living yourself, or not sufficiently
or
You live in a community of needs with a person who is capable of work and entitled to benefits.

Single parents
get 36 percent of their standard needs if they live with a child under the age of seven or with two or three children under the age of 16.
Under certain conditions
, disabled people who are able to work are
entitled to an additional need of 35 percent.
If an
expensive diet is
necessary
for medical reasons
, an additional requirement of an “appropriate amount” will be paid out.
A ruling by the Federal Social Court causes an uproar: Hartz-4 recipients should not get any additional insurance money for their dogs in the future.
