A brawl between migrants in northeast Paris left one dead and one seriously injured overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, AFP learned from corroborating sources.
The facts took place at Porte de la Villette, in the 19th arrondissement of the capital and involved several migrants from sub-Saharan Africa living in the street, explained an association official, who did not wish to be identified, and whose teams marauded the neighborhood to distribute blankets to the homeless.
The brawl left "one dead, one seriously injured, taken to hospital and a third person injured but conscious," confirmed a police source.

If the associative actors do not notice an increase in violence among the hundreds of exiles still wandering on the edge of Paris, "the two failed evacuations in Saint-Denis and Place de la République in recent weeks have generated a form of frustration" , noted Louis Barda, head of patrols for Médecins du monde.
