Germany is hoping for a vaccine against corona.

But how many residents really want to be vaccinated and who will get the vaccine first?

A photo of Merkel's notes allows conclusions to be drawn.

  • Germany is about to get

    vaccine

    approval against the coronavirus.

  • A photo of the notes of Chancellor

    Angela Merkel

    * (CDU *) allows conclusions to be drawn about vaccination readiness and categorization.

  • There should be not just three, but 14 categories.

Munich - Who will be Germany's “Patient Zero”?

While the first people have already been vaccinated in England, Germany is still waiting for the

corona vaccine

to be approved

.

But who gets it first?

And how many want to be vaccinated at all?

A

photo of a

piece

of paper

that Angela Merkel carried around with her at a cabinet meeting allows precise conclusions to be drawn about what the vaccination plan looks like.

68 percent of Germans want to be vaccinated

The Kanzerlin and its advisors assume that out of

83 million Germans a total of 46.16 million will be vaccinated

, which corresponds to a participation of 68 percent.

So far, surveys have shown that a smaller proportion of the population is ready to be vaccinated.

The Merkel list contains a total of

14 categories

with the exact number of people and estimated willingness to vaccinate.

In the ministry of health's draft bill, there were only three categories.

However, the list does not show the exact sequence of vaccinations.

Prioritization is

done

by the

Standing Vaccination Commission

(Stiko).

The list is presumably used by the Chancellery to estimate the need for vaccination doses.

According to "Bild" the vaccination is expected to start on December 27th.

There has also been criticism of the vaccination plan: For example, state chairman of the police union,

Jürgen Köhnlein

, demanded

higher prioritization for police officers, just as Bundestag President

Wolfgang Schäuble

claimed this for members of the Bundestag.

So far, both belong to category five.
