Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations Majid Takht Rawanji reiterated the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and the exit of all foreign forces present in it without the consent of the Syrian state.
Fars News Agency quoted Raungi as saying in his speech today during the UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Syria that all foreign forces present in Syria without the approval of the Syrian government must leave this country, stressing his country's rejection of any separatist measures and illegal initiatives in Syria.
Rawanji expressed his country's commitment to a full political solution to the crisis in Syria, pointing out the importance of continuing to fight terrorism until the threat is completely eliminated, indicating that places like Idlib should not turn into a safe haven for terrorist organizations.
Rawangi indicated that the constitution discussion committee should continue its work without any external interference or pressure, or artificial deadlines for its work.
