A 46-year-old man was shot dead this evening (Wednesday) in Reina in the Galilee.
Another 53-year-old man was moderately injured in the shooting.
MDA teams evacuated the wounded to a hospital in Nazareth, where they were forced to determine the death of the youngest of them, Nimer Suleiman, a father of two from Reina.
According to police, the shooters were masked and fled the scene immediately after the shooting. Checkpoints were set up in the area to locate suspects.

The incident joins two other cases of violence that occurred in the first, in which the suspicion of murder arose.
In the first of these, a 48-year-old resident of Zarzir, Ziad Grifat, was seriously injured in a brawl in a village near Nazareth, and a few hours later he was pronounced dead at Haemek Hospital in Afula.
Police arrested a young man in his 20s shortly after the incident on suspicion of involvement in the case.
Hours later, Noam Moshe, a 19-year-old resident of Tirat Carmel, was stabbed to death in a residential building in the city.
The MDA team that arrived at the scene provided him with medical assistance and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in a critical condition while attempting resuscitation.
At the hospital, doctors determined his death.

Data from the Aman Center show that Suleiman is the 11th victim of murder and violence in Arab society this month, the 107th since the beginning of the year, compared to 96 in the same period last year.
Only 28 of the murders this year have been solved.
The number of murders has been steadily rising year after year and has doubled since Aman began surveillance six years ago, in 2014, when 51 were murdered.

"The Arabs are paying with their lives for the instability in the political system. It has been more than a month since the prime minister declared in the Knesset's Committee for the Elimination of Violence that he will bring the government's crime eradication program in Arab society to a government decision within two weeks.
