Tartous-Sana
The maintenance workshops of Tartous City Council continue the work of isolating and opening rain drains due to the bottlenecks that the city witnessed this evening due to the rain.
The head of the council, Mohamed Khaled Zain, told SANA's correspondent that the torrential rains that fell for continuous hours today led to bottlenecks in some places in the city, indicating that the workshops had removed some of them, and work continues until now.
Zain pointed out the most important points that have been addressed in the Wadi Al-Shater area at Tripoli Road, Omar Al-Mukhtar Road, and simple places in Al-Thawra Street, in addition to the industrial area that water flowed into from the mountains and the surrounding areas.
The head of Tartous City Council indicated that there were no damages affecting public safety and that the maintenance workshops in the council were fully alert in anticipation of any emergency.
