The World Health Organization revealed today that the Americas region has recorded nearly 31 million cases of the emerging coronavirus and 781,000 related deaths.
Reuters quoted a region director for the Americas, Carissa Etienne, as saying that Brazil and Colombia reported the largest number of new cases in South America.
According to the "World Meter" website, which specializes in following the developments of the Corona pandemic, the total number of corona cases in Brazil until today is 6985555, while Colombia recorded 1444,646 cases of corona.
