A murder investigation was opened Wednesday, December 16 after the discovery of the body of a 41-year-old man in an apartment in Choisy-le-Roi in Val-de-Marne, the Créteil prosecutor's office said.

It was the owner of the apartment who notified the fire department at the end of the morning.
He hosted the victim.
This owner, currently in custody, says he did not sleep at home the day before and discovered the body on his way back to his kitchen.
The victim was "
lying on his stomach, surrounded by blood, with a knife nearby,
" said the prosecution.
According to the first observations, she presented two wounds on the level of the flank.
The investigation was entrusted to the Departmental Service of the Judicial Police of Val-de-Marne.
