The European Rugby Cup match scheduled for Saturday between La Rochelle and Bath is in turn canceled due to a case of Covid-19 in a Scarlets player, Bath's previous opponent, the organizer announced Thursday evening. The player in question having been "in close contact with 12 players" from Bath, since placed in isolation, the English club is "not able to field a team of a sufficient level", explains the European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR).
On Wednesday, the Toulouse-Exeter and Glasgow-Lyon meetings had already been canceled for similar reasons.
