The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA
)
Vaccine and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee voted Thursday to recommend authorization for emergency use of the vaccine against the Moderna's coronavirus.
The FDA will now review the advisory committee vote and decide whether to authorize the emergency use of Moderna's covid-19 vaccine in the United States among people 18 years of age and older.
That decision could be made later on Thursday or in the next few days.
Vaccine
