The statement by the Defense Minister that there is also room for a Palestinian capital in Jerusalem joins the radical trend that characterizes the core of blue and white representation in the Knesset • Opinion

At its core, the Blue and White Party is a left-wing chief of staff party. The statement by Defense Minister (Res.) Bnei Gantz that there is a place in Jerusalem - which is a very large city, by definition - also for a Palestinian capital, is a reminder of the party's basic tendency.

Blue and white has a small group of right-wing nationalists.

See Hili Trooper or Michael Bitton.

But in principle, both Joaz Handel and Zvika Hauser, who have already skipped to the next party, which is apparently very right-wing, have been debating hard whether to rely on a minority government, a very left-wing one, on the basis provided by Ayman Odeh.

Ganz's statement in the Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper is mainly indicative of a lack of wisdom.

There is a prime minister, who has turned the Middle East upside down, and contrary to all the predictions and perceptions that Ganz and his friends believe.

He brought peace of alliances accompanied by a struggle against Iran;

They were mainly concerned with trying to curb it, for example on the issue of applying sovereignty.

In fact, Benny Gantz is like a steel ball tied in a chain at the foot of the prime minister, who even with this weight ran faster than his opponents.

The concern for the Palestinian capital, that is, the division of Jerusalem, joins the radical trend that characterizes the core of blue and white representation in the Knesset;

The equality law that they are pushing for in combination with the surrogacy law, and the directive to register a father and mother as parent 1 and parent 2 - these are laws that are ideologically in the middle between Meretz and the joint list.

They, along with Ganz's political views, teach that there is no trend of giving up for unity, while the Likud should swallow up a justice minister who has formed an alternative governing coalition composed of Nissenkorn, Mandelblit and Hayut.

Does anyone remember that the Likud faction has 36 Knesset members?

The moral level of the radical laws is evidenced by the glaring contradiction between the Equality Law and the Surrogacy Law, which imposes on women the status of less fertile.

It allows women to be enslaved, even if it is abroad, which is inconsistent with moral and egalitarian considerations.

Gantz's political statement reveals the huge gap in the ability to conduct foreign and security policy between Prime Minister Netanyahu and his competitors, such as Gantz and Gideon Saar.

At their core, these are politicians trapped in a bubble of internal political considerations, fed first and foremost by a closed-loop media loop.

They are unable to break free from the internal political loop.

It will be very difficult for Netanyahu to deal with a political integration of Ganz as prime minister that combines arms with President Biden and PA Chairman Abu Mazen.
