The authorities in Honduras reported an increase in coronavirus cases "in recent days", so the National Risk Management System (Sinager) announced new recommendations and prohibitions on the occasion of the holidays on Wednesday.
They recommended that the meetings be between the immediate family nucleus and that in case of receiving relatives with whom they do not live, limit the number of participants to 10.
In addition, they advised that the meetings take place in ventilated places and maintaining a certain physical distance to reduce the risks of contagion.
Celebrations in public places such as bars or discos are also prohibited.

In this sense, they announced that operations will be intensified in commercial establishments to guarantee compliance with biosecurity measures.
The curfew is maintained between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., except for December 25 and January 1, 2021.
As of Wednesday, the government confirmed 115,317 cases of covid-19 and 3,013 deaths.
