Today, Al-Khanji Gallery in the city of Aleppo hosted an exhibition by artist Mohsen Al-Khanji, which included 30 works that embodied eastern heritage and pictures of the suffering of Syrians as a result of the war on their homeland.

On the exhibition that is held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Al-Khanji Gallery for Fine Arts, Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Culture in Aleppo, indicated that it comes on the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Aleppo from terrorism and as part of the celebration of the Fine Art Days, where the artist Al-Khanji presents his life experience that spanned over five decades, following several A variety of art schools of classicism, abstract and others, in addition to his focus on the Aleppian and Syrian heritage in general.

Plastic artist Mohsen Al-Khanji spoke to SANA's correspondent about the importance of the exhibition 30 years after the opening of his hall, which embraced many exhibitions and major artists, pointing to his exhibited paintings, where he combined the applied and creative materials that embody heritage and modernity and the pain we have endured as a result of the war on our homeland.

For his part, Ibrahim Daoud, head of the exhibitions committee in the Aleppo branch of the Union of Plastic Artists, said that the exhibition is a diverse product of the Al-Khanji artist, including copper works, oriental decorations, and symbolic expressive paintings that express the human condition, stressing that this artist is the first to introduce copper into plastic paintings.

The plastic artist Suzan Hussein considered that the Al-Khanji Gallery remained an embrace of all artists over the years of art and creativity.

Among the visitors of the exhibition, Bushra El Hassan drew attention to the oriental character in the paintings, in addition to the handicraft copper works that symbolize our eastern customs and traditions, and this is what Nadine Jabal pointed out, considering that the exhibition is distinguished in terms of the diversity of colors and creativity of style.
