A two-year-old child was urgently hospitalized on Monday December 14 in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor) after ingesting cannabis.
The facts, told by France Bleu, took place in the father-in-law's apartment.
The latter was rolling a joint when the baby grabbed the cannabis resin on the coffee table.
A few minutes later, the child turned pale.
Admitted to the intensive care unit of the Yves-Le-Foll hospital, she is today "out of danger but still hospitalized", indicates the local radio.
She will then be placed with a foster family upon discharge from the hospital.
After being taken into custody, the stepfather received a judicial summons.
