A new publication was issued by the Syrian General Authority for Book and within the Talking Book series, a new publication entitled “Selections from the poetry of Abi Al-Stay Al-Randi” chosen by Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Director of the Revival of Arab Heritage and with the voice of the poet Qahtan Bayraktar, Director of Child Publications and Editor-in-Chief of Osama Magazine in the Syrian General Book Authority.
Bayraktar Lasana explained that the publication included three famous poems by the Randi poet, especially in his famous Nunian poem in which the emirates of Andalusia cried as it collapses in the face of the European invasion and has a special importance in the history of Arab literature because it contains meanings, feelings, images and imaginations, and because it expresses a critical stage in our Arab history. .
Bayraktar pointed out that he had previously performed with his voice two speaking books released this year, which are anthology of Umar bin Abi Rabia’s poetry and an anthology of Majnoon Laila's poetry, describing this experience as beautiful and exciting for him as a poet. Their meanings are expressed in his voice in different degrees according to the situation and the meaning, and he should be familiar with the atmosphere of the poet who recites his poems and his biography.
Bayraktar emphasized that in recent years, the Writers' Authority has continued to publish a number of books on some of its directorates, including authoring, reviving Arab heritage, translation and children's publications, describing this project as important, which is still developing according to the available capabilities, and some of these speaking anthologies are published on the authority's website.
On the possibility of creating a channel on YouTube to publish these anthologies, Bayraktar pointed out that there are several options for publishing these anthologies via the electronic space other than the CD in which they are usually published.
