The new crown pneumonia epidemic has repeatedly hit all walks of life. The Census and Statistics Department announced today (17th) the latest figures on the unemployment rate. The unemployment rate from September to November this year was 6.3%, a slight decrease of 0.1 percentage point from the 6.4% in October.
The underemployment rate also fell by 0.4 percentage point to 3.4% from 3.8% in August to October.
Among the major economic industries, the unemployment rate of the catering service activity industry also fell from 14.8% to 13.1%, the largest decline.
