With the participation of 33 women, an exhibition "Star of Bethlehem" for products and handicrafts, including festive decorations, cosmetics, sweets, clothes and accessories, was opened in the Prophet Elias Cathedral in Aleppo for the fifth year in a row.

Archimandrite Musa Al-Khasi, representative of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Aleppo, pointed to the importance of this exhibition in supporting the local industry, which is an opportunity for the participants to display their creative products during the festive season, especially as they do not have shops selling these products.

Lynn Qawwaf, from the Scouts of the Prophet Elias Church, pointed out that the exhibition, in its fifth year, presents many distinctive products, including sweets, clothes, accessories, and what distinguishes the exhibits is that they are handmade.

Taleen McCruyan, one of the participants in the exhibition, explained that she participates every year to display her hand-made products on the occasion of Christmas, to show visitors her handicrafts of accessories and mosaic paintings.

Rana Zariz indicated that her goal of participation is to encourage handicrafts, especially that the city of Aleppo is famous for its industries and handicrafts, explaining that it has developed through the exhibition its profession and handicrafts, while Raya Kalzi, who participates with handicrafts of woodwork, utensils and festive decorations, explained that it offers its products at reasonable prices, which contributes In stimulating shopping and purchasing traffic.

Amer Hamwi, head of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, stressed the importance of the exhibitions taking place in the city of Aleppo because of their effective role in stimulating the movement of the markets, pointing to the excellence of the “Bethlehem Star” exhibition because it contains home-made products, which indicates the existence of renewable human energies in Aleppo that meet the needs of society .

Among the visitors to the exhibition is Mrs. Aurora, who pointed out that the prices are reasonable and meet the needs of the people.
