The American NBC channel reported that the Coronavirus pandemic had "brought the United States to the knees, the strongest and richest country in the world."
The channel indicated in a report that "the United States is paralyzed in the face of the largest epidemic crisis in the country's history, as it is rapidly approaching dire and grim numbers."
The channel added that "the recent data is terrible, and the lines on the graph are completely frightening in the first two days of this month, as more deaths from the virus were recorded in the United States than every month in March."
The channel considered that “Americans’ hopes that their country will present all its enormous financial and intellectual capabilities as well as its technological power to fight infection have not been fulfilled, ”noting that“ the outbreak of the virus has exposed a whole range of systemic problems in the United States, including hospitals that suffer from a lack of funding in terms of infrastructure. Infrastructure in rural areas and poor areas is crumbling, faltering, and legislation hindering essential economic assistance. Many Americans do not even have health insurance.
The United States recorded more than 3,200 deaths and about 250,000 new infections with the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
More than 17 million people have been infected with the Corona virus in the United States since the start of the outbreak, but the actual toll may be greater due to the lack of widespread testing in the first stage.
