The
picture

reported about it.
However, it also means that the rules mentioned apply “if and to the extent that the highest state health authority has stipulated this by general decree”.
It is therefore the responsibility of the
federal states
to determine whether and how they implement this.
The
Regulation
will in the course of the proposed law,
January
enter into force and
existing arrangements for returning travelers

A ministry spokesman did not comment on request and pointed out that it was currently the subject of an internal government vote.

First report from December 18:
Berlin - is
Germany
getting
the Corona situation under control?
The number of cases is exploding in some regions of Germany.
The threshold of 30,000 has been broken.
The
Robert Koch Institute *
(RKI)
reported
33,777 new corona infections
on Friday morning (data status: December 18, 12 a.m.).
The missing 3,500 cases from Baden-Württemberg were included in the statistics.
Due to a technical breakdown, the data was sent to the RKI too late.
In the past 24 hours, 33,777 new corona cases and 813 further deaths have been recorded in Germany |
1,439,938 people in Germany have been shown to have been infected with Sars-CoV-2 |
Since the start of the corona pandemic, 24,938 deaths related to the coronavirus have been reported |
There are currently around 345,600 active corona cases in Germany |
The
hard lockdown
has been in
effect
since Wednesday (December 16).
On day 3 of the lockdown, those numbers are staggering.
The coronavirus is particularly rampant in old people's and nursing homes.
Even the week-long
lockdown light
could not prevent that.
Researchers at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) have submitted a report on this.
"Protect grandma and grandpa,"
warned RKI boss Lothar Wieler at a press conference in early December.
The risk of a severe course is particularly high in the elderly.
"The situation is serious," the RKI boss repeated like a prayer wheel.
The incidence is currently high in the over-60 age group.
According to the RKI's Covid-19 management report from Thursday evening, it is
173
.
For comparison: the 7-day incidence in Germany as a whole is currently
184.8
.
More and more corona patients have to be
treated
in the
intensive care unit
.
Currently there are 4,894, of which half are artificially ventilated, as can be seen from the data in the DIVI intensive care register.
In the hospitals there are still 3,644 beds available in intensive care.
If there is a lack of local capacities, patients are relocated to less affected regions.
Corona in Germany - RKI reports 813 deaths
813 people
died in the past 24 hours, the RKI announced.
This week,
2,963 deaths
have already been
recorded.
In the previous week there were 3,056 deaths, tweeted Olaf Gersemann, head of the economic department at WELT (see below).
Almost 89 percent of the
coronavirus-
related deaths
in
Schleswig-Holstein
in the past three months have been residents of old people's and nursing homes.
This is evident from the figures that the Ministry of Health announced on Friday in Kiel at the request of the German Press Agency.
Accordingly, 119 home residents in Schleswig-Holstein died between September 21 and December 14 after a corona infection.
During this period, the number of people in the country who died of or with
Covid-19 rose
by a total of 134 from 161 (as of September 21) to 295 (as of December 14), according to the state government.
Mathematically, the 119 deaths from homes make up around 89 percent of the 134
corona victims recorded
in all of Schleswig-Holstein in the past three months.

Rapid antigen tests are very popular right now, especially before Christmas.
But experts warn: The corona tests do not dispel all corona worries.
Especially since the tests vary in reliability.
