The Dietramszell community has come up with something to honor deserving citizens: The D'zeller Mark.
It is a voucher for ten euros.
Dietramszell
- Instead of invitations, the community is distributing vouchers this year.
The usual events around Christmas and the turn of the year are canceled for the known reasons.
Because certain groups of people are to be honored despite Corona restrictions, Mayor Josef Hauser, as reported, called the D-Mark back to life: the "D'zeller Mark", which is worth ten euros.
They should receive the youth leaders of the clubs, the parents of the children born this year and all citizens over 80 years of age.
The Dietramszeller Mark can be redeemed at restaurants, hairdressers, food retailers, bakeries, ice cream parlors and flower shops.
"All of the traders asked have declared their willingness to participate," reports Hauser in a press release.
A list of the participating companies can be found on the back of the voucher.

Most are currently closed due to the lockdown, but the D-Mark will remain valid until September 1, 2021.
However, it cannot be exchanged for cash.
“When redeeming, the small tear-off on the right-hand side remains with the trader and the rest of the voucher with the owner,” the town hall chief describes the procedure.
The entrepreneur then submits the demolitions to the community and receives the equivalent value by transfer.
“At the moment there are a total of 61 clubs, some of which do youth work.
Furthermore, we currently have 297 seniors over 80 years of age and as of today 71 newborns ”, explains Hauser.
All of them should receive the newly issued D-Mark with the official seal and signature of the Dietramszell mayor in the next few days.
