The US Navy Pacific Fleet Command announced today that dozens of crew members of the American landing ship "Iwas Essex" were infected with the new Corona virus during the implementation of a cruise.
The American newspaper San Diego reported today that "a medical group was transferred from the coast to the ship to deal with this emergency situation, and then the ship returned to its base," noting that the majority of the injured were from the engines section.
On the other hand, the US Navy confirmed that more than 1,200 American sailors were infected with the Corona virus during the past week.
And last February, the American authorities announced that forty Americans were among those infected with the Coronavirus on a cruise ship subject to quarantine in Japan.
