Among them, Ou and Deng pleaded guilty to misconduct by public officials, while Lin denied the charge and was tried, but the judge ruled that he witnessed the other two defendants attacking the victim without stopping, failing to perform his police duties, and disregarding the victim's leaving the ward. He was convicted of guilt for misconduct.

The victim was later arrested and taken to the North District Hospital, where he was placed under the custody and investigation of three defendants. .
Ou He Deng, who is also a uniformed police officer, repeatedly attacked the victim in the ward, including brightly shining his eyes, pulling his toe hair, and attacking his lower body. The victim was so painful that he bounced up, but the two did not stop, and even used a baton to break. He also used the baton to make a thrusting motion on the victim's lower body for 6 seconds, and also pinched the victim's lower body.
When the two left, they said the name of the victim’s family in the victim’s ear, and threatened: "I will bury your wife." The victim also suffered from an adaptive disorder due to the incident, and occasionally recalled the process of being attacked.
