The march to demand justice for the femicide of Florencia Romano (14) in Mendoza ended this Friday with serious incidents in the provincial courts and the Government House. 

The demonstration, called by social organizations and the group Ni Una Menos Mendoza, was scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and started from kilometer 0 of the capital of Mendoza to the headquarters of the executive, was massive and developed peacefully until the end.

But when the bulk of the protesters withdrew, a small group stayed and

threw stones

at the windows of the Governor's Office and set fires inside two offices, according to

Florencia Romano was 14 years old.

His body was found burned.

Incidents were also recorded in the Palace of Justice, located a few meters from the Government House, in the civic neighborhood.

When the mobilization passed through the place, some protesters stayed and threw stones at the building and

As there were firefighters inside the two buildings, the flames were extinguished in a few minutes.

, there was no police operation during the demonstration since, precisely, the Police were one of the targets of the protest.

Is that according to the investigation, a neighbor of one of those accused of the femicide in Florencia Romano had called 911 to report a situation of gender violence because he

heard screams and a request for help

from a woman.

But the operator of the emergency number, which depends on the Mendoza Police,

did not believe him and cut off the phone

The 911 police assistant was removed from her post and the General Security Inspectorate is investigating why there was no progress with the complaint that could have prevented the murder.

The butcher Pablo Arancibia (33) and his partner Micaela Méndez (27) are charged with the crime in Florence.

The victim disappeared on Saturday, December 12, when he traveled 15 kilometers by bus to the house in Arancibia, in the town of Maipú.

They had met chatting on Instagram

and the accused would have made the girl believe that he was inviting her to a meeting of friends.

Florence's body was found five days later, two miles from the butcher's house, in a field in front of a refrigerator.

The investigators arrived at the body through the testimony of a person who said that he had helped the butcher to take it to the place, because he had told him that it was "a dead dog."

Arancibia has a

serious history

with two former partners.

He threatened one of them with killing her entire family.

He beat another, hanged her and prohibited her from communicating with her family, in addition to not letting her leave her home.

In none of the cases was he convicted, according to information from the newspaper Uno.

According to the version given by the butcher, Florencia was with them at their house in Maipú, but they said that she left later, around 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Arancibia even said that he took the bus.

Investigators know that in the area of ​​the prison couple's house, the teenager's phone was turned off.

Meanwhile, Méndez claims to have been at a relative's home all weekend and would have evidence to show that the man took advantage of the fact that she was not there to invite the teenager to his home.
