In the video: Documentation of an assistant in a kindergarten in Petah Tikva lying brutally and shaking toddlers (Editing: Assaf Drori)

The investigation of the assistant who was arrested on suspicion of abusing a kindergarten in Petah Tikva continues, and the incriminating videos were released today (Monday).

The video shows one of the kindergarten workers trying to lay some toddlers on mattresses, swinging them vigorously and then gripping them on the ground and covering them with blankets.

The acts of violence are repeated several times after the toddlers get up and refuse to stay lying on the mattresses.

After it was discovered that the hearing revealed that the assistant had special needs, on Wednesday the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva released her under house arrest, which will end tomorrow, under the supervision of her parents and accompanied by bail of NIS 1,500 and a ban on working with the helpless for 60 days.

Police have asked for an extension of her detention by five days, but sources involved in the details believe that the investigation will end without an indictment.

Documentation of abuse

Senior Sergeant Major Alexander Koblenchik from the Sharon area police said in court that "there is no violence of slaps and shakes, mainly the use of body weight and force to catch the toddlers. The suspect apologized for the acts." I know I made that mistake.

I apologized to the parents, each parent separately, and said that I would stop working in kindergartens and find another job, and not children, whether it was in a factory or in a store. "

Justice of the Peace Ophir Rivlin also noted in her decision that the severity of the acts was not high. In a single video about a minute old that was placed in front of me, from which there is indeed aggressive behavior towards the toddlers, but not at a high level of severity. "
