Bad Tölz - As the police reported, the 28-year-old was arrested on Saturday.
Previously, the police had received a tip from the population about the whereabouts of the man.
The Tölzer, who had been wanted by the judicial authorities for several offenses, had been in hiding for a long time.
He stayed in an apartment in the urban area of Bad Tölz.
The officers smell marijuana upon entering the apartment
Upon entering the apartment by Tölz officials, the police noticed the smell of marijuana.
As a result, the apartment was searched by the deployed officers.
Plates of hash, marijuana, amphetamine and eight marijuana plants were confiscated.
In addition, professional equipment for growing marijuana plants as well as five-figure cash could be confiscated.
According to the police, there were "indications of the arrested person's active drug trafficking".
Preliminary proceedings initiated for the trade in cannabis in large quantities
A preliminary investigation was initiated against the 28-year-old Tölzer, among other things because of the trade in cannabis in large quantities.
This is a criminal offense with a penalty of not less than one year in prison.
28-year-old Tölzer is now in the Stadelheim prison
The 28-year-old was brought before the investigating judge on Saturday and then taken to the correctional facility in Munich-Stadelheim.
