Even if, officially, she is not yet a candidate for the Ile-de-France region, the deputy mayor of Paris, Audrey Pulvar, with her list "The island of France in common", comes - already - to change… campaign manager.

According to our information, Rachid Temal, PS senator from Val-d'Oise, succeeds Luc Carvounas.

Audrey Pulvar has just offered this strategic position to the one who was a few months - between September 2017 and April 2018 - at the head of the party and who sat on the regional council between 2015 and 2017, before being elected to the High Assembly.

Luc Carvounas, elected in the first round mayor of Alfortville (Val-de-Marne) last May and vice-president of the Greater Paris Metropolis, had to leave the leadership of the campaign of the future candidate for the region for reasons of transparency.

The former deputy has, in fact, just been elected president of the National Union of municipal social action centers (Unccas), the real head of a network which aims to represent, animate and support the municipal centers of social action at departmental, regional, national and European levels.

"It was complicated for Carvounas to occupy such transpartisan functions and to engage at the same time in the campaign of a candidate", explains a member of Audrey Pulvar's team.

Even before being officially "invested", Rachid Temal has already actively participated in two important operations of the "campaign" of the head of the list of "the island of France in common": the first online meeting that took place. held on December 11 and during which the idea of ​​creating a "citizens' assembly" on ecological problems was launched, as well as the trip last Saturday of Audrey Pulvar to Dunkirk, a left-wing town where free transport public - one of Pulvar's key propositions - has been practiced since 2018.
