The recently concluded normalization agreement between Israel and Morocco has moved many thousands of North Africans.
The longing for Dad's house, for tradition, atmosphere and smells floated up.
Despite the lack of diplomatic relations so far, Morocco has been known for its extraordinary respect for Jews in general and rabbis in particular.
This was also the case during the Holocaust, when General Vichy in France demanded that King Muhammad V transfer the Jews of the country into his hands and was refused outright.
Over the past few years, since being appointed head of the fathers courts in Morocco, Rebbe, Rabbi Pinto often publicly praise and above all what is the current king, Mohammed VI, who is known for his love of Jews and Judaism.
Sponsored by the administration led Pinto revolution in training the country and established in Casablanca the The "Return of Israel" yeshiva, where dozens of students study, who have already become expert slaughterers.
