As far as I can go back in time, my great pleasure, my happiness, is to discover a city.
There is no more beautiful present than to see how women and men, through history and geography, have decided to settle and build together.
Building is creating links, weaving, weaving, brewing - it is mixing the sum of pasts in order to create a common future.
Of course, this idea is not new.
It is already present in the history of Babel, the unfinished city which was to touch the sky.
It is in biblical mythology at the origin of all the other cities, dispersed on the surface of the earth, crossed out from each other by different languages.

It is with irony, however, that the big cities of the world that I have been able to visit follow the same tropism - as if, despite divine anger, men wanted a few thousand years later to finish their common project.
