The most surprising is first of all green.
As a North African country, at least in my imagination, Morocco was supposed to be one big desert - so it turns out not exactly.
Thanks to the tremendous acceleration of the peace process, I learned yesterday that at least the beer Rabat is immersed in woods and flowering vegetation.
In the few hours of the visit I discovered that where the kings of Morocco are buried they take off their shoes and read the Koran;
That French - at least in the King's Palace and the Foreign Ministry - is spoken no less than Moroccan Arabic;
And the latter, by the way, is a completely different Arabic from that of our region.
Winter sun and blue sky pleasant the atmosphere of the historic visit.
The beauty and cleanliness of the streets also contributed their share.
"Israel's peace agreements with Arab countries are changing the consciousness of the peoples on each other," Jared Kushner reiterates the depth of the process that will be enshrined in his name forever.
It is true that within the limits of the corona and due to the shortening of the visit to only 12 hours, it was not possible to get to know the capital of the kingdom in depth, but there is nothing like seeing eyes and walking to be filled with intoxicating feeling again.

And it does so because of a mutual combination of interests, of course under a confident and bold American leadership, and without setbacks, concessions or payment in a Palestinian currency that is simply irrelevant.
Over the past six months, such historic breakthroughs have become routine.
The members of the Israeli delegation to Rabat are more or less the ones who have led the historical journeys to the Emirates and Bahrain in recent months.
In view of this "routine", and certainly in light of the political developments in Israel yesterday, we knew full well that another historic visit would not really make headlines anymore.
But in the annals of Israel and the region, half a day of senior Israeli officials in Morocco will be etched forever.
A fourth Arab state makes peace with Israel within six months.
If you put aside the background noises, this is the drama that shook Israel yesterday.
