The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Hama, Ziad Kousa, explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent that, based on a complaint by a citizen, after providing him with his heating oil allocations, it became clear to him that the amount of fuel packed for him does not match what the meter recorded, indicating that the directorate’s personnel and after inspecting the tanker They discovered that its owner intentionally made a hole in the top of the counter to enter his hand in order to tamper with the numbers of the meter and increase the numbers recorded in a way that does not correspond to what was filled in.
Kousa indicated that the ration seizure was organized and the tanker was seized after it was emptied into another tanker, and the violator was arrested and referred to the judiciary.
