It is possible that the American company does not market this vehicle on its behalf, to sell it to a traditional manufacturer.

The Apple Car could see the light of day in the years to come.

The "Titan Project", initiated in 2014, continues to advance behind the scenes of the Cupertino company.

According to the Reuters news agency, Apple would develop its initial project, namely an autonomous electric car, built entirely in-house.

Some time ago, the American company had discussed the design of a system that would be sold directly to car manufacturers, before abandoning the idea.

To carry out its project, Apple would call on a partner, still unknown, to assemble the various parts of the vehicle and thus limit costs.

Other alliances would have been forged with companies for the production of certain elements.

In particular Lidars, which allow an autonomous vehicle to scan its environment in 3D.

One of the main innovations of this car would relate to the technology of its battery.

The latter would have a "single-cell" design, guaranteeing great autonomy and a small footprint.

Apple would also consider a lithium-iron-phosphate combination, more reliable than the traditional lithium-ion of our smartphones.

In addition, Apple may not market this vehicle on its behalf, only to sell it to a traditional manufacturer.

In addition, the coronavirus pandemic could delay its launch, and postpone it for at least a year.
