At 5 o'clock in the afternoon today (22nd), a fire broke out in a shop at No. 27 Fuk Wah Street, Sham Shui Po. A large amount of thick smoke passed through the air. In the accident, 3 people were burned and at least 3 people were unwell, including one man and one. The woman and a child were unwell after inhaling the smoke. They were taken to Caritas Medical, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital by ambulance.
The firefighting team sent a breathing apparatus team to the scene and sent out a hose to fight the fire. The fire was put out at 5:28 pm. About 80 people were evacuated by themselves.
The firefighters removed the pipes of the pumping machine, and the neighbours on the scene pointed out that a restaurant will be opened on the fire ground and is undergoing renovation.
A fire broke out at a shop at No. 27 Fuk Wah Street, Sham Shui Po, and the fire department and police arrived at the scene.
