Haifa Science and High-Tech Park is expanding into two additional buildings with an investment of NIS 270 million.
The construction of the new buildings will begin in the coming months and is expected to take about two years.
The park, located at the southern entrances of the city, will be joined by two additional buildings, which will also include underground parking lots and commercial and catering areas on the ground floor.
The project is financed by the Haifa Economic Company and a building company, which the park owns.

The park was established as part of a strategy for the development of knowledge-intensive industries in Haifa, which deal with a wide range of types of research and development in the fields of biology, biotech, bioinformatics, nanotechnology, agricultural engineering, medicine and more.
Already today, the park's ultrasound division of GE and the Swiss pharmaceutical giant LONZA are operating alongside other companies, such as the hearing aid giant SONOVA and the incubator of the chief scientist MindUp.
The design of the new buildings was entrusted to the architect Moshe Tzur, who also designed the existing building.
At the end of the entire project, the park will include 5 buildings with an area of 85,000 square meters, which will be designated for offices, research laboratories and the like.
"Demand for knowledge-intensive industries in Haifa is growing," said Einat Klish Rotem, mayor of Haifa.
"We are working to strengthen Haifa as an advanced high-tech center, and have been recording significant successes in the past year."
