The judicial police of the Ministry of Tourism and its directorates in the governorates have organized 80 police officers from the middle of this month until now, in the context of intensifying monitoring work on tourism facilities to ensure the implementation of the requirements and procedures for dealing with the Corona epidemic and adherence to the necessary health conditions.
The ministry stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of that the seizures were organized due to multiple violations, such as providing hookah service and not adhering to spatial distancing, noting that the seizures were distributed among 28 officers in Damascus, 28 in Aleppo, 12 in Lattakia, 2 in Homs, in addition to 5 in Tartous and 5 in Sweida.
It should be noted that the penalty for non-compliance with the precautionary measures for Coronavirus is a 7-day lockdown for the first time, 15 days in the second and a month in the third.
In a related context, the Ministry of Tourism asked its directorates in the governorates to intensify monitoring tours on tourism facilities in coordination with the member of the competent executive office and all relevant directorates in the governorates.
