Samuel Paty's college filed a threat complaint

," said the Versailles prosecutor's office.

According to the rectorate, the head of the establishment lodged a complaint on December 10 "

following a threatening message on the college voice mail

".

A source close to the current investigation specified that this message consisted of "

a mixture of insults and threats

" aimed at the college and accusing it, in substance, of laxity in the defense of Samuel Paty.

On October 16, Samuel Paty, a 47-year-old history and geography teacher, was beheaded by a radicalized Chechen Russian after showing his students caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad as part of a free speech class.

In early December, an administrative investigation by the National Education Department was published, reporting the events that occurred before his assassination.

The report concludes in particular that the institution and the establishment have taken "

Conversely, the lawyer for Samuel Paty's family, Virginie Le Roy, ruled that "
