Muhammad al-Amrani, the Syrian ambassador to Belarus, discussed with Dmitry Bantus, Minister of Defense Industries and head of the Belarusian side in the Syrian-Belarusian Joint Intergovernmental Committee for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, the existing cooperation relations between the two countries in the economic and commercial fields and ways of working to enhance them for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The meeting dealt with possible efforts to develop these relations, including through the meetings of the Intergovernmental Committee scheduled to hold its next session in Minsk next year.
The two sides affirmed their support for the stances of the two countries in various international forums and their stand together in the face of terrorism and the attempts of external interference in their internal affairs.
