(CNN) -
US President-elect Joe Biden has yet to announce several key roles in his incoming administration, including the attorney general, the secretary of labor and the secretary of commerce.
Biden's goal was for all, or most, of his remaining cabinet picks to be announced by Christmas, a CNN transition official previously said, but prospects for doing so are fading.
The appointed attorney general is no longer expected to be announced before Christmas, a person familiar with the matter told CNN, as Biden continues to deliberate on one of the highest-profile positions in his incoming administration.
