The two defendants are Zeng Zhijian (18 years old, Form 5 student) and Qiu Hongda (26 years old, Polytechnic University student).

The two were accused of participating in riots with other unknown persons in the areas of Tai Ho Dao, Da Ho Dao North and Limulus Fong in Tsuen Wan on October 1 last year.

Tsang Chikin was also charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, alleging that he assaulted Police Constable Tse Siming and Police Chief Sergeant Tsang Ka-fai in Limulus Fong, Tsuen Wan on the same day.
