A Deutsche Bank employee who has been responsible for US President Donald Trump for years is leaving the bank.
A spokesman for the bank confirmed to Reuters news agency that Rosemary Vrablic from wealth management recently submitted her resignation.
This has been accepted and will take effect at the end of the year.
Her long-time colleague Dominic Scalzi is also leaving the institute.
The speaker did not give a reason for the steps.
The New York Times first reported Vrablic's resignation.
According to the newspaper, the banker made sure that Trump's company received loans totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
In August, the money house initiated an investigation into a real estate deal from 2013 between Vrablic and Scalzi with a company that is partly owned by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
The Reuters news agency reported in early November, citing several insiders, that Deutsche Bank was looking for ways to end its business relationship with Trump.
It had been said that one was tired of getting into the headlines again and again.
The money house and the US Presidential Office had declined to comment on the report.
Deutsche Bank is one of Trump's major lenders.
The family business Trump Organization is said to owe the institute hundreds of millions of dollars.
Three Trump hotels alone were financed by Deutsche Bank with $ 300 million.
In addition to the extensive credit relationships, both sides have already sued in the past.
