Corona - Daily Update: 3,251 diagnosed in the last day, 5.1% of positive tests

This is the second day in a row that more than 3,000 infected people are registered within 24 hours.

The number of active patients climbs to almost 29,000 people across the country, of whom 868 are hospitalized, 118 are respiratory and 503 are seriously ill.

The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Sunday) that 3,251 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day.

This is the second day in a row that more than 3,000 infections are registered per day.

This increased the number of infected patients in Israel to 383,385.

Yesterday, about 64,315 tests were performed, with a positive percentage of the virus being 5.1%.

The data of the tests and their results are not final and may change in subsequent updates of the Ministry of Health.

The number of active patients is 28,960.

The hospitals hospitalize 868 patients, of whom 118 are respirators and 503 are seriously ill.

To date, 3,136 people have died from the corona virus in Israel.
