President Bashar Al-Assad visited the Electronic Citizen Service Center in Damascus today, which began providing services to citizens.
President al-Assad interviewed the center’s staff about the mechanism of work in it, which is mainly based on requesting transactions via the Internet and the citizen’s obtaining them from his home or workplace without the need to go to official departments to complete them.
His Excellency also listened to a detailed explanation of the types of transactions currently provided by the Center and other transactions that are being prepared to begin providing them.
These electronic services will achieve the goal of simplifying administrative procedures to relieve citizens, saving a lot of time, effort and money, and ensuring transparency and clarity in the required procedures and documents.
At the end of the visit, President al-Assad thanked the cadre based on this basic and essential work, calling for intensified work in cooperation with all ministries in order to cover all areas that could relieve the burden on the citizen.
