The Fahd Ballan “Second” Forum for Music in Sweida, in its third day, discussed the reality of the musical movement in the governorate and ways to develop it, in addition to an evening of musical artistic and lyrical music by the Assyria Music Ensemble, at the Palace of Culture in the city.
The workshop, in which a number of musicians and researchers have participated in the history of music, and conducted by music researcher Salman Al-Badaish, focused on the reality of the musical movement and its development on the governorate arena.
In a statement to SANA reporter, music researcher Salman Al-Badaish explained that the symposium dealt with artists who left their art outside Syria, highlighting their tremendous achievements and the importance of their return so that the country can benefit from their experiences, noting that the activities presented at the forum are not limited to Fahd Ballan alone, but include various aspects of music.
